This notice covers cookies and similar browser storage on the Steward website and invited product. Essential storage and optional analytics serve different purposes. You do not have to allow analytics to use Steward.
Your choice
Website analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. Reject analytics is available at the same time. Use Cookie settings in the website footer at any time to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops further analytics; the page reloads to remove the analytics session. It does not undo processing already performed lawfully. These controls apply to this website, browser and device, not your other devices.
Remembering your privacy choice
The website stores steward-privacy-choice in first-party local storage for 180 days. It records whether analytics is allowed, the notice version and timestamps, without a visitor identifier. It is used only to apply your choice. We ask again after it expires or the consent version changes. Clearing browser storage also clears the choice. If storage is unavailable or the choice is invalid, analytics stays off.
Display preferences
If you choose a theme, steward-theme in local storage remembers light, dark or system mode. This requested preference remains until you change it or clear browser storage. It does not track visits or require optional analytics consent.
Sign-in and invitations
The separate invited product uses first-party authentication cookies to maintain your session and secure account access. Authentication cookies (sb-…-auth-token and related verification cookies, sometimes split into numbered chunks) can have a browser lifetime of up to 400 days, refreshed as the session changes. Browser lifetime is separate from token validity. Signing out clears session cookies. A secure, HTTP-only invitation cookie, steward_beta_invitation, remembers an invitation during account creation for up to seven days. These cookies are necessary for the sign-in or invitation service you request. Website analytics consent does not grant access to an account or workspace.
Conversation continuity in the invited product
The product stores conversation identifiers, titles and timestamps under steward-core-agent-lab.v3.… in local storage so you can return to your requested conversations. This is scoped to your account; sign-out clears these local references. Older v1 and v2 entries can be removed during migration or sign-out. The browser copy has no automatic time limit: clear it by signing out or clearing site storage. It is separate from the server-held conversation record. Appearance settings may use the theme key until you change them or clear storage.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views, referring sites, approximate location and browser or device information. It uses a short-lived request-derived identifier rather than advertising cookies; its session identifier is discarded after 24 hours. Our integration removes query strings and fragments from page URLs and does not send form fields or custom events. We do not use advertising pixels on this website. The provider and ordinary delivery or security logs may still process connection information to deliver and protect the service.
Browser controls and questions
